Post your chosen issue/article to this post in the comments section. This is only for Tuesday, 11/22.
You may not double up on any article or topic.
I also encourage you to team up or to create a panel/theme for those students presenting on the same day. That is, you may choose to work as a group of five with five articles and five interwove topics that you lead discussion/group work on for that day.
The goal, here, is for me to power shower and for you to take responsibility and lead the focus of our discussion on Twilight.
No more than four/five people on one day.

ReplyDeleteI needed to change my angle a little bit. I am still using "Twilight":Sexual Longing in an Abstinence-Only World" and the conclusion of Seduced by Twilight. I will be talking about the idea of the heroine and if Bella fits this role.
ReplyDeleteI would like to present on this day, I am going to discuss a chapter from the book Twilight and Philosophy: Vampires, Vegetarians, and the Pursuit of Immortality. I've narrowed it down to 2 chapters but I still haven't decided on which one yet.
ReplyDeleteI would like to present on this day, the article I found is called "A Psychological Look at Bella and Edward in Twilight and New Moon" By Deborah M. Chan at http://fhsprofessor.com/?p=14. I plan on talking about how Bella has an extreme Interior Locus of Control and it makes her appear as if she is a fragile character. What really is the cause between her appearing a a fragile character and is she really so fragile?
ReplyDeleteThe article I am going to be presenting is from the book Twilight and Philosophy and it is chapter 13, The "Real" Danger: Fact vs. Fiction for the Girl Audience.
ReplyDeleteThe article I am going to present is The Female body Revamped: Beauty, Monstosity, and Body Transformation in the Twilight Sage by Helke Steinhoof and Maria Verena Siebert. I will be talking about gender and body politics in the Twilight Saga
